My wife needed a place indoors to start the vegetable and fruit seeds for the garden. So I made this thing. I wanted to use 2×2’s for everything, but the ones they had at the Home Depot were just garbage, so I made my own by ripping 2×6’s.
I used half-lap joints for the shelves and the shelves fit into dadoes in the vertical posts.
I secured the shelves to the posts with bolts so it can be taken apart and re-assembled next spring. It worked a charm and all the plants are now growing in the garden.
